It depends... Do you prefer a traditional or modern tone? For me, it's Ampeg all the way!

All 3 are bedroom practice amps, and all 3 are good at that one thing. The real question is, what are you looking for this amp to do for you?

I need a small practice amp to take along on a trip so I can get ready for an upcoming gig. So, I went to GC and demoed a few today. Tried the Acoustic BA20 and the Ampeg BA-110 and BA-108. It came down to the two Ampegs. Both had their strong points but the BA-108 seemed a better choice. Good output for a practice combo and very articulate. For $99 you can't go wrong.

May I draw your attention back to post #3? It's a valid question that remains unanswered.

I think you already answered it by stating they are good practice amps, at least that's what it seems like.
FWIW, I found it very useful before heading out to GC along with some other threads on the subject.

I'll go out on a limb and guess that BoyWithABass would agree.

Cheers, mate.

Only a practice amp, with a good sound quality, and if i ever have to play with some guitar (a little one of 30 watt), for not to be out of spreed

A 30 watt guitar amp can blow away 100 watt+ bass amps

A 30 watt bass bedroom practice amp is just that - a bedroom practice amp

A 40 Watt valve guitar amp can just about blow away a 500 Watt bass amp, my guitarist has a Fender hot rod (as I had) and that is seriously loud and penetrating

Well, i think that maybe in a month i would be able to afford an ashdown five fifteen (100watt), so that should solve my problem

If you're not in a hurry, keep saving money and buy yourself an amp with at least 300w of power.
