Good Mic to record from bass amp with a distorted/fuzzy signal?

I'm trying to buy a mic to use mostly live, with a bass with distorted, or the use of fuzz pedal, any suggestions?

In order of preference:

EV RE20
Heil PR40
Sennheiser 421 or 421a
Beyer M88

I have the RE20 and PR40 but the RE20 is broken and I'm too cheap to get it fixed, and the Heil is a great mic that can sound a lot like it for about $75 less than the RE20.
