G'day all.
My 'better half' sings in a couple of my bands & we usually use our OLD Dynacord powered mixer, which just sounds great. ALWAYS! It's amazing, never needs a graphic eq, it just works. WELL!
But, we need a li'l more headroom at some venues.
So, we're after a decent quality power amp, Class D maybe, but pref. lightweight.
The Dynacord is 350w/channel, so, are looking at probly 700/ch. & up.
Suggestions........
Thx

You're going to need something that puts out at least 700 watts per channel to notice a real difference. Those Dynacord amps are solid and sound good - so some funky wannna be product won't do it for you.

QSC GX5 500 watts @ 8 ohm / 700 @ 4 ohm 24 lbs. $399.99 new

QSC GX7 700 watts @ 8 ohm / 1,000 @ 4 ohm 15 lbs. $599.99 new

Simple, reliable, powerful and not very expensive. Plus QSC products have excellent warranty coverage.

Thanx so far. Crown & QSC were on my possibles list.
Both are reliable, yes?
Will take a look @ Peavey too.
Yes, probly 700-up is what I should've put. Edit......
