Hey folks. I was given an SVT-115E cabinet that has no speaker in it. For the SVT-115E cabinet dimensions, volume, porting, etc., what would be a good speaker to put in the cabinet? |

But for the sake of discussion, if that option proves difficult to find a stock replacement or it's cost is prohibitive, what would be good Plan B's? |

There's also the matter of the amp driving it. |

|  | Registered User | | Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: West Dundee, IL | | | I replaced the driver with Eminence Delta 15A in my SVT-15E. It sounded good, but sound a bit different compared to my other 15E. Maybe because the speaker wasn't broken in, or I don't know, but i like how it sounds.

Hopefully Ampeg made it somewhat easy to change the port length, because box tuning will make a huge difference in what may/may not work. Without the numbers, making a suggestion would be a crapshoot at best..
