Got Me a Deal

Sign in to disble this ad
Woohoo! I saw that the Markbass Little Mark III head was on sale at MF for $540 (that's $60 below regular selling price). It's just what I've been saving for so I can have a separate head. Well, they also have a thing going on to get $100 off if you spend over $600, so I also got $100 worth of other stuff as if it were free. That is, I also got some strings (Chromes flats), a Snark clip-on tuner, an instrument cable, a right angle adapter, and a gig bag, plus the head, all for $540. I saved $160 since all this woulda been $700 without the deals. How's about that?

Saving begins all over now for one more 15" cab. That'll give me a Little Mark III with two Markbass Traveler 151P cabs. That oughta work.

Thanks to Musician's Friend.

(This is not an add, and I am not affiliated with Musician's Friend). Just one happy bloke right now.

Those kinds of deals are great if you get stuff you were already going to spend money on. They are not so great if it just forces you to spend more money on stuff you didn't really want/need before. :P

But it sounds like it worked out for you, so that's great!

Yep, I had already picked out $100 worth of stuff when I happened to notice that the amp was on sale and that they had the $100 off thing going on, so yeah, it worked out perfectly.

Congrats to you, too, Jheake! That Ampeg looks sweet.

Last I checked, South Carolina was still part of the US. But there's still a lot of Civil War resentment there, so it's always possible they could secede and join the UK at any given moment

LOL, I don't think we're going anywhere again, although I have been working on expanding the Civil War exhibit at the SC State Museum. Heck, half the folks here are from up North.

I was referring to the fact that the OP called himself a "Happy BLOKE."
