Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys..

Got my first Tube amp which is an Ampeg SVT-VR with a 610HLF 6x10 cabinet...
Can you guys give me some tips about tube amps cause I don't have much of an idea...
What ohmage should I use with it??
There is also a Polarity Switch...Which side should it be on?
Any other tips

Thanks so much

Chris

The 6x10 HLF cab is a 4ohm cab so make sure your Impedance Switch ("ohmage") is set to 4ohms.

Great box by the way. I've tried a truckload of Amgeg gear and that box stood out at better than the rest for punch and clarity.

Great choice on the head! Make sure you check the bias lights and always connect to a speaker.
