Great Bag End customer service experience!

I've just had a great customer service experience with Bag End and wanted to share with you, my bass brethren! I am selling a Bag End cabinet right now, and it was missing a few things so I contacted Bag End about it. At first I just asked about purchasing a new logo for the grill, as mine was missing. I emailed them and got a response from Craig Lockwood. He let me know he would be happy to send me a new logo...free! And then he did it!

A few days later I inquired about purchasing a new port cover (I didn't get one when I bought the cab) and again heard back from Craig. He said he would get one out to me right away...free! WHAT?! Good customer service in this day and age?! Holy moly! It didn't even matter that I bought the cabinet used, and that's pretty awesome. The best part about the communication is that there was no delay (not instant of course, but always within 24 hours and usually much less than that) and all of it aimed to help me. There are only 2 companies I've dealt with personally that have offered this level of customer service, and that's Bag End and Mesa Boogie.

Don't be shy about giving these folks your hard earned cash fellas. I use these cabinets because they are the best I've ever laid my ears on. It is just that much more comforting to know that they take care of their customer base too. Kudos to Bag End, and in particular to Craig Lockwood. He's a gentleman and a scholar!

If you've had a similar experience, please feel free to chime in!

Wait.

The ports are supposed to have covers? Mine are just cut carpet on my Q10XD.....

I did buy it used though. Perhaps its time to make a call.

I use boogie with it too. Sounds soooooo good.

the large 15 and 18 have removable front port covers. None of the rear port models have covers.

And I've never had a bad experience with dealing with Bag End... always reachable, helpful and friendly via phone or email.

James is right on. The cabinet I'm referring to is the S15B-D, which has a port on the front. The cover is used to "tighten" up the sound, and removing it is supposed to make it "bigger" sounding (at least, I think that's right!)

Sorry for the confusion!
