You're either clipping the amp or the driver. Turn it down.

It's a good idea to set your Bass flat and reduce the other EQ controls to get what you're looking for. What amp are you using??

it is the gk700rb,,,,

I have just been having a problem getting the right sound I like at louder volumes with my drummer,,,I seem to love the sound that I get on my swr working man 15" but I need more power with this drummer an i seem to push that rig to hard,,,,

I also have a hydrive 15" hartkey that I wasnt getting the right sound then just bought the swr bigben an 2/10t, to try them (thought since i liked the swr15" i would try it)

so your saying try to keep the guitar flat an adjust the amp to try to find the best sound?

No! On your amplifier, set your Bass control flat and reduce the mid and high EQs. I'm betting that the loud pops you are hearing is the speakers voice coil hitting the backplate of the magnet structure.

I am not sure what that pop sound is or what is going on,,,,,

I tried the 15" hartkey at the same setting on the amp an the bass dosnt give me that pop sound,,

I noticed that if i mute the strings an hit them with the palm of my hand to make the speaker move this will easily get the pop sound,,,,,

I really dont trust this cabinet the way it is cant really see doing a show with the risk of this making that pop noise

found that the spider in the back of the 18" bag-end speaker there was a crack,,,,

Bought a reconditioned speaker from bag-end

turn up the bass an I still hear the pop when a muffle the strings an hit them with the palm of my hand,,,,,,,,

The neoprim harkey 115 hydrive cabinet at the same volume level handles it just fine,,,,,,not sure if this is normal
