Grounding Problems

Sign in to disble this ad
I need some advice concerning grounding issues. Last night I played an outdoor gig where the whole band had to use power from one outdoor outlet, Needless to say there were multiple extension cords. BOttom line is there was a tremendous ground hum, some in my amp some in the guitarists.
We don't play these types too often, but when we do I was wondering if there are any solutions to this issue.
Any advice would be welcome.
BTW, ground switches have already been used to no change.

And you should never play without surge protection. You may not have a problem for years, but when you do....
