| Make sure the amp head is the only wired to the speaker, and the speaker is not wired to the combo amp. I have seen people try to wire a separate amp into combo amp speakers without disconnecting the combo amp. Then they wonder why the combo amp now has very limited volume and a very loud hum ("but I didn't have the combo head turned on when I was playing through the speaker"). |
