Guitar Amp Heads?

So after fooling around with many different ways to get sounds I have decided on always splitting my signal, the bass-y cleans go to an SWR Silverado Special 350w while the high wet sounds to to a Peavy Vyper 60w Tube. I know that using a bass through a guitar amp excessively will blow the speaker but I might have a solution. Is it at all possible to run somthing like this guitar head through a bass cabinet? And if so what kind of cab should I get?
Let me know if any of you guys have tried splitting the signal like this cause I'm rather curious to how other have done it

It's no issue, you can do it. All I'd advise is with the guitar head, get a cab with no tweeter or at least where the tweet can be switched off. You can use guitar drivers in a bass rig if you keep the lows out of them by crossing them over or biamping to a real bass woofer. You split the signal by frequency. Like say below 300hz to a bass woofer and clean. Above 300 hz to a guitar driver and effected (or also clean if you want, the guitar driver's breakup will still add a little grind).

Works for me
B52 100 watt SS state head to Ampeg B25B cab with Sunn 80watt and Jensen 50 watt 15" speakers and GK 400RB-III to Sunn 215BH with Eminence legends. I split the two coming out of my pedal board's stereo chorus. I use the gain channel on the guitar head while keeping the bass amp signal clean, sounds like guitar and bass in unison. Unless I hit the Big Muff, then it all gets hairy.
