Guitar Center Score !!!

Been looking for a Ex cab for my Markbass CMD 102p combo, so today I go to guitar Center to get some strings and sitting in the corner is a Traveler 102P cab in great shape I thought in would be to much $$ for me but when I checked it out the price it was $249 WOW so out comes the GC credit card and its mine...Today was a good day....

You might want to make sure it's an 8 ohm. That might be why the price was so low.

As opposed to a 4 ohm? And why would that make it cost less? Not being sarcastic, just curious as to what you meant by that.

I just picked up a 102HF to push with my 102P.

Strangely enough, the 102HF is a larger cabinet than the 102P. Should be sweet sounding.

My guess would be good old supply and demand. Not too many people out there running 2 ohms and some may feel that cab isn't enough at 4 ohms. Just a guess though.

I'm guessing that he's thinking a 4 ohm would be a slower mover, so the price could be reduced.

Most amps are limited to a 4 Ohm minimum load, so an 8 Ohm extension cab would seem to be more in demand (IMHO). I don't know whether that would enter into the pricing scheme at GC though.

gc goes by used marke value of ebay and there own used site. if it goes for 200 used odds are gc will sell i for 200 or less
