Guitar through a bass amp?

I plan on getting a cheap guitar soon to mess around with, looking towards a used VM Strat or any other decent entry level guitar.
But how exactly would this sound through my Peavey TKO75 or Fender Rumble 15? both combo amps. I have a distortion pedal so simple effects won't be a problem.

And what cheap but decent guitar should i get for playing music like Blink-182 and The Offspring?




I know there have been many threads like this already, but i'd like some other input, thanks.

It won't hurt anything equipment wise except maybe a tweeter if you use a lot of od, distortion. Turn the tweeter down if you have one, otherwise no prob.

The tiny little speaker. I don't think either of those amps have one so don't worry about it.

I do it sometimes. My LP sounds really warm/thick/fat through my PJB Roadcase BG-800.
