Happy New Year - Thanks for enlightening me!

This is just my way of saying Happy New Year to all those who have helped me so much to understand how bass cabs work, helped with my own designs and builds and just contributed so much to the dialogue. Many thanks and well wishes to rpsands, greenboy, billfitzmaurice, jimmym, DukeLeJeune, bgavin, kjung and so many others!!! May your new year bring you lots of inspiration, success and patience with those who are new to the game.

And for those who choose to remain ignorant despite all these people's attempts to help you as well...

I'd like to second Sundogue's best wishes to those he (? - I shouldn't assume) mentioned, and to add him to the list.

As a newb in the field, despite what feels like my rapidly advancing years, I have learnt a staggering amount from them, and plan to continue doing so.

Cheers!

Assumed correctly.

I've learned so much from my fellow TB'ers over the past 10 years. I see so many posts from new and even older players it just reminds me how ignorant I was (and in many ways still am). I was (am?) so stubborn in my opinion that facts just bounced off my protective ignoramus shield.

As much as I'd like to help other bass players here, too many times that shield is just so strong that it's better to bow out of discussions and allow them their assumptions. Time will tell if they too learn something along the way, but I wanted to call out some guys that helped me tremendously (and I know I missed some).
