HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE GIG TO ALL !

Just wanted to wish everyone a good and safe New Year's Eve gig to you all. Probably don't need to tell you guys that it's Amateur Night for party goers, so be safe on the roads, and watch the booze ! My gig starts at 10 pm at a swanky country club, two 1 hour sets and I'm done ! Gotta love it. Keep the groove goin' !

BAKATCHYA BRO...

I'm heading out to a neighborhood lounge gig from 9pm-1am. Not the swankiest joint but I had a choice between this gig with my blues band friends. And a higher paying gig with a soul band at a club much farther away and with not best of friends band. I've had some bad history with some of those cats so I went for the lesser money-better buddies gig.

I wanna end the year on a good note.

Y'all take care out there, be safe, enjoy the music you play and dammit have some fun doing it, I plan to.

Peace, ErnieD signing out for 2010.

The bottom line is that if you have or want to have long hair, it's not about the actual length of your hair, it's just how well you take care of it. Don't just assume that since you're a guy, you hair will take care of itself. I HAVE been turned off of long-haired guys in some cases because their hair and general appearance just made them look dirty.

How is this relevant to the topic?

Played a 2 1hr set and 1 half an hour set (after midnight) gig last night for a band after 1 rehearsal, they're bassist let them down so I had to learn their whole set in a few days. Gig went well though so I'm satisfied

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had good gigs!

For only the 3rd time in 39 years, I did not accept a New Year's Eve gig this year. It was wonderful to be able to cook a wonderful dinner with my wife, drink an excellent bottle of wine, watch some bad TV, read a bit, and be in bed by 10:30! Sometimes, getting a bit older doesn't suck at all
