I have an HA 2500 for home and like it a lot. I'd have no fear of using it live (with the right cab).

I also have a 2500 and a 210XL.
Works fine for home/studio.
If you need more then add another 210XL for a 4 Ohm 4x10 setup. It would work good for up to a medium sized gig, and not too expensive, around $650.00 for a 4x10/250 Watt system. Another thing is it gives you the chance to go 2x10 or 4x10, and it is easier to carry the two cabinets at the same time then it is to carry one 4x10 by itself.

Just picked up the ha2500, got a great deal after trading an Ibanez bass that was going unused, also getting one 210xl and one 115xl locally later this week, , tried that combo at SA and really sounded great, can't wait to put it all together, will post up pics of the whole rig when I get it,
