Hartke 3500 + SansAmp rbi????

Got a hartke 3500 head and heard a very mixed bag on the SansAmp bri, worth the money or steer clear, any abvice greatly appreciated as nowhere close to me stocks the SansAmp to test it first. Cheers.

more to have somethng to switch between the sounds of than anything else. I play in 2 bands with similar style but very different needs on my bass sound as 1 with 1 guitar player and 1 with 2

My Sansamps rool. I recently bought the RBI after buying the RPM.
These 2 Preamps together are just freakin madness.I know theres no Tubes in there but my op is that it gets pretty darn close to the actaul sound of a tube.People can say no they dont all day but i can hear its butter. I love these things.Im just surprised that i never got them before.I was always going with a clean bass amp.
Then the Sansamp changed that !
Dont be afraid of the `Sans`.
