Hartke 410 XL with casters or differnt cab?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,

I have a Ampeg SVT-III and a Hartke 410 XL. The sound is great, but I need a lighter rig. Right now I am digging the sound but not the weight.

So my question is this, should I put casters on the Hartke (88 pounds) or get a different cab? Any suggestions would help as I have to transport my rig alone.

Thanks,
RH

Casters will help, but there are other excellent sounding 4x10 cabs that are 30lbs lighter.

Euphonic Audio NL-410 58lbs, SWR GOLIGHT 410 56lbs or have you thought about maybe two 2x10 cabs at 30 -40 lbs each.

That 2 2x12 idea sounds like a plan. I just want to keep that cost under $600 for cabs.
