Hartke 7000

I have a older Hartke 7000 amp. I was wondering if anyone had made any modifications to one in the preamp circuit. It has a tube pre but the adjustment is just a mix adjustment. not how much juice you give the tube. Just wondering if anyone had ever messed around with modding the amp to change that.
Also the amp has some noise to it. not popping but a low hum. I can't say the amp hasn't always had the noise. I was just wondering what I might look for to minimize the hum.

I really wish Harkte would release a new version of the HA7000 in a 2 space rack with about a weight of about 10-15 lbs.

I took out the preamp board last weekend and reheated all the solder joints on the pcb board. I just had the low amp fixed. It was low volume and distorting. The amp seems less noisy but still has some of it. It doesn't seem to matter which amp output I use.

This amp is 15 to 16 years old. It still sounds good. I tried out a new LH500 while it was in the shop for repair. I had also borrowed my cousins HA7000 as a backup. I ended up using the older HA7000. The LH500 was punchy but so bright and treble sensitive to me.
