Hartke Amps

I currently am using a Hartke 2115 Combo. I was considering adding the Hartke 210T9 cabinet to the amp to boost the sound a little. Has anyone had any positive or negative experience with any of these Hartke pieces ?

At what ohms does the speaker in the combo work at? If it's 8 ohms, shouldn't be a problem. I would probably get an XL cab instead of a Transporter, though. I'm a friend of Larry's and really like some of his cabs, but the Transporters are beginner cabs.

It puts out 200 watts @ 8 ohms. I'm just starting out playing in small venues and I can pick it up for under $150.00.

I once gigged with Hartke TP 410 and it sounds so ..cheap? If I were you I would 100% go for XL cab

The 210xl is only a hundy more and a lot better.

+1 on the XL over the Transporter. I have the 210 XL. It's a thumpy little cab but realize that it is a SEALED cab which has it's own kind of sound and power requirements. But for $150 it is hard to beat - that's about what I paid for mine too.
