Hartke ha3500 + Pre amp unit???

Hi, new to putting gear past head and cabs together. I know I can use the effects send to go to a rack mount tuner, can I use the return for a pre amp unit? If I can any reccomendations???

You can if you don't want to use the preamp already in your head. Otherwise, you can just plug it inline, and use both.
