Hartke Hydrive 112 cabinet

Anyone using this cabinet at gigs yet? Would like opinions on volume and low end output. Thinking about getting 2 of these to replace my two GK Neo 112. The Hartke seems to have a smaller footprint and more low end frequency response according to the Harke specs.

Go for it! I got my HX112 about a month ago, and have gigged with it a couple of times. If I didn't already have an HX410 I would have gotten two 112s for sure.

Has darn near 1X15 low end and response, and with the tweeter/cone you can get very sharp and clear response across the spectrum. The cabinet filter switch gives you additional eq/room tweaking capability (you can boost or cut the highs) and the cabinet is very responsive in the 8 and 4 ohm impedances. I used it for a medium sized club without PA and there was more then enough for the gig. For the medium club I used the 4 ohm setting and my LH500 turned up to about 7, so I was getting almost all the actual volume my amp can produce without overdriving the cab (its rated for 300W and the LH500 is 500 @ 4 ohm). I used it in 8 ohm for a very small bar and it had tons of low end. And it was a heck of a lot easier to drag with me.

Now, as you can see from my profile I am a little biased, but I have used them and wouldn't just pump the product. The one thing that I wish was different is that the 112 has only one handle, so carrying it sometimes is awkward. Two handles would have been nice, but if you look at the design and the footprint it has, its understandable why only one industrial strenth handle.
