Just got a Hartke HyDrive HX112 bass cab- nice! Have a Markbass CMD 121P to drive it- as ext. cab (speakon connection). Not only does the Hartke add volume (Markbass is 500 watt @ 4 ohm)- but the port gives a very nice low end quality to the overall sound. Was hesitant to buy (Zzounds) without hearing- just looked right! It is... just hope it holds up. Entire rig- 59 lbs!

Sweet. I was thinking about picking up one of these myself. Give us a review soon!

I almost ordered one online, but I really REALLY dislike all the writing crap on the grill. Aesthetically turned me off. If it was a plain grill, I'd probably have one. Color me shallow that way.

I have one of these and love the tone of it.

The impedence switch is a bit silly for a 112 since you're unlikely to ever run it at 4-ohms. But I chose it over several other "boutique" cabs based on its full tone and light weight.

I would have. I needed a 4 ohm cab as an extension for my Roland CB100. But it is an unusual amp. I chose the Eden EX112, as it was less expensive...but the Hartke was my next choice. The switch on the Hartke is a nice feature....wish all cabs had one.

+1 (other than the 4ohm/8ohm switch, I find that to be a handy feature) I have two of these cabs and am even happier than anticipated with them. I couldn't find many reviews when I was in the market for a "modular" rig. I took the plunge and am so very glad that I did. In lower volume situations, I use just one (at 4 ohms, although not a night-and-day difference, I get enough of a boost to handle all that a small venue minus PA support would require). For gigs requiring a bit more, I run both cabs @ 8ohms each. Never a problem, lightweight and they sound great.
