Hartke LH100 paired with two Hartke 410XL's

Alright guys heres deal First post on here so... I just purchased my 410XL,sound fantasic and I have absolutley fallin in love with it but I want to buy another one and have 2 410's to make an 8x10 setup pretty much now doing that will obviously leave my little B1-RE Ampeg workin damn hard to power that much speaker. So shopping around lookin at heads I have determined for sure a great wattage level would be anywhere from 700-800 watts and there are quite a few amps out there that would fit this characteristics but there are a couple of heads I really really like the features on that have more power then that number one on my list being the LH1000 so gettin to my question about this, would 1000 watts be pushin these cabs to hard? Would if be feasable to run this set up safely with out what my hard earned money startin on fire in my face ? The 410XL cabinet handles 400 watts at 8ohms so bassically with the cabs comined it would be 800 watts at 4ohms. The LH1000 is a stero Amp puttin 500 watts ouf of each channel so that would be 100 watts extra to each cab.

So lemme hear the opinons and suggestions, other then to buy hydrives cuz yea I already bought the 410xl like a week ago and can't aford the hydrive cool as I think it would possbly be lol

I was just perusing the forum looking at Hartke stuff and spotted your post. Just thought I'd chime in. I'm running the LH1000 bridged in to two Hartke 4.5XL cabs. (I've modified them to include Speakons so I can daisy chain out of the bridge output.)

I am happy that the cabs will be absolutely fine. If you start playing and you hear any distorting or 'farting out' or the cones are flapping around too much, then be careful - other than that, my rig is plenty loud at 2 and pushing my luck with the rest of the band (on stage level) if I get as far as 3 on the volume control, speakers not even breaking in to a sweat!

to sum up - do it :O) - you'll also be fine running the amp in dual mono to each cabinet too.

You should be good to go with that setup. Keep in mind the LH 1000's EQ for the "no boost" setting is: Bass 2, Treble 2, Mids 10.

Mids are cut only and the Treble and Bass knobs are boost mainly.

One small suggestion, use a few more periods and commas next time you post. It will help us give you better advice and save you money! Rock on dude!
