the Hartke LH1000 - problem fixed

Hi all, new to the forum but I thought I'd post some advise if anyone is in a similar situation with there LH1000.

I am the proud owner of a Hartke LH1000 which I have owned for a year now with no issues until recently. I just thought I'd post this for advise if anyone has similar issues.

I played a gig recently and halfway through the first set my 4x10 cab started making incredibly horrible noises. Sounded as if the cab had blown, which shouldnt be the case as it's 600w

My 1x15 cab was fine. I swapped the cabs round between channel A and B, finding that the A channel was bad. Eventually I got no sound out of channel A at all.

I took the amp to Pete Hartley in Sheffield - (highly recommended!) Who had it back up and running within 24hrs. He had stripped it down and found that channel A was being overloaded and both channels needed re adjusting. (something about thermal networks) I'm not technical at all!

He did this and it sounds as good as new. All in all cost me £60 for repair. Luckily no damage was caused during the gig to either amp or cabs.
