Hartke/SWR for 5'er?

Sign in to disble this ad
Yeah, I know I should do a search, but....

I'm a long-time 4-stringer thinking of (maybe) dipping my toes into the 5-string waters, mainly just as an experiment. Obviously there are a ton of cheap/used 5'ers available locally, but I'm not sure about my rig (mainly the cabs) handling the low B. Rig is: Hartke Model 2000 head>SWR WM 210> Hartke TP 115. Only effect is minor compression. I won't be doing any death metal gigs, just normal/moderate volume country, southern rock, etc. I can always upgrade later if it all works out, but what are the chances of killing the cabs in the mean time? Thanks in advance!

Why the hell didn't I take up the harmonica instead? It's alot easier to load in and load out.
