What are the structural/functional differences between Transporter cabs and XL series?....I have a chance to switch from my 2x10 Transporter into an XL for a few bucks...
Thanks folks!

Do it!!! There is a world of difference. Like trading in a Yugo on a BMW. They are heavier though.

I played through XL's for years. I almost got the Transporter until I heard the difference. The XL210, just for example, will handle 200w. The Transporter will handle 150w. The XL's are heavier, but worth it.

When you see your way to go to the HyDrive series, you will get awesome handling power and tone, plus light weight. My HyDrive 410 weighs about 30lbs less than my 410XL did, and handles 1000w vs 400w for the XL.

So, in a nutshell, if you trade for the XL, you will be getting more of a professional series cabinet, but it's a little heavier.

Hope this is helpful.
Cheers,
CD
