So there's an insanely cheap 21" sub i noticed on partsexpress and wondered if anyone had any experience with it for use in a biamped bass rig. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...umber=292-2526
1k watts rms and goes down to 22hz and is only 200 bucks, sounds too good to be true, so is there a catch for using it in a bass amp? Like maybe its gonna be to "slow" or "muddy?" |

Absolutely terrible, terrible stuff.

Absolutely terrible, terrible stuff. | funny thing I remember reading that Derek Trucks has been using Pyle 10's in his Pre-CBS Super Reverb, while on tour. |

Calling an entire company junk these days is ridiculous given the quality of cheap stuff from the Orient. Behringer makes some really top notch pieces these days and lots of major companies have shipped their manufacturing overseas with no noticeable drop in quality.
That said, a 30lb subwoofer with no TS specs is a bad bet.
