has anyone used a jmp-1 for bass?

im looing for an affordable way to get the sound of a super bass. my other option is the bugera 1960 but im not sure of the quality there.

How much are you willing to spend? You could try building a Weber kit.

Bugera 1960 all the way, you will not be dissapointed, most modern Marshall's are not even close to what they once were...

I would buy a Bugera 1960 at the drop of a hat, I just need to verify whether or not it's safe to have tubes mounted to the PCB in the manner that I've seen them in the 1960 gutshots.

I built a Weber kit, using Digikey caps.

My 1960 works and sounds great, no complaints. With any tube amp, I always carry a DI or small Class D amp as a back up.

how deep does it go? i know it will sounds great for overdriven sounds but what if i need a deep clean sound? do i need to have a dual amp setup for that?
