How much I love my GK 1001 RB II?

Well, I do. I paired it with a LoPHAT 2x8 cab this weekend and it sounded amazing!! I used to play GK back a few years and then got into the micro-head kick. Unfortunately nothing satisfied me, including the GK micro head. I honestly can't say why. Many of you here are more gear-headed that I am and can probably shed some light on why there is a tonal difference between the full sized and micro heads; maybe many of you don't hear a difference, but I do. For the first time in a long time I am diggin' my tone. The bass sounded huge on stage and the clarity was better than I have heard in a long time.

I am GK all the way.

It really is...it has everything I was looking for. It's nice to be reunited with this amp.
