I have a Mesa Boogie powerhouse 2x12 (that is rated at 600 watts 8 ohm)
My head was recently stolen, so I just bought a Hartke LH500 (500 watts at 4 ohms) used from guitar center. It is being shipped to me right now.
I just want to make sure that this going to work together. The head should run 350 watts to the cab at 8 ohms. That should be ok right? There is so much dispute over how wattage and ohms should be matched.
Yes, but the same caution should be taken with ANY spkr cab. Too much low end and volume will hurt them, and you'll hear it first. Back down if the cab farts.
