Please go into more detail about Duratex causing the problem.
Lots of "custom" boxes coated with Duratex out there and this is the first time I've heard of any resonance problems with it.

The title of the video should be " this is what happens when you mix rock with roll"

The photo of the Selmer brought back memories of my wayward youth. Thanks BassMec.

No type of speaker coating is gonna make a head slide off the cab. There's an obvious resonance issue going on that needs to be dealt with and no amount of velcro or rat fur is gonna change that

I feel bad for the OP...hope he gets his problem sorted quickly

go to a business that sells carpet and get a piece of the no-slip stuff they use on rugs. no i don't mean carpet tape! it's a piece of rubberized fabric that's thin, cheap and can be cut to any size

Exactly! I'm sure if one of your cabs had this trouble you would definitely want to know about it. You would resolve it ASAP without a doubt! Product improvement is key to success.

I have a rubber-bottomed memory foam bath mat for the top of my 410HLF. My Orange TB was running for the border with the vibrations that the cab emitted... The mat solved the problem.

Treat the problem, not the symptom.

I feel that the only viable solution has been put out already, which is contact the builder, and we're all just killing time till we see a video of a 90 lbs SVT 'floating' off of a cab...

There... I fixed it for ya!

Let's be fair, everyone makes mistakes, entropy happens - but have you ever seen anything remotely approaching the phenomena described by the OP? Video of the dancing SVT [with Benny Hill theme soundtrack] and interior shots of the cab are a must at this point.

PS: The velcro / drawer liner suggestions are hilarious - keep em coming! How about 2" eyebolts in the floor and some cargo straps?

Because that's the answer!!! We're not talking about a Shuttle 3.0 dancing off the cab. A FREAKING SVT is walking off the cab! So even though making a rack case out of solid concrete might help, it's not fixing the problem

If the cab is vibrating that badly, it's probably loose bracing or a lack of bracing, which should be addressed...not only will the SVT stop trying to plummet to it's death, but the cab will most likely sound way better. I'd rather see the OP have the best sounding solution to his problem and either he or his builder could solve the problem in an hour or less with a tiny bit of bracing and some glue.

I hope these little fake rants are taken in the spirit in which they are intended...just being silly to make a point

I'd hate to think of what this cab is doing to the tubes.

From ten feet away I've knocked ashtrays off tables...without disturbing the bourbon or ashtray sitting on my speaker cabinets.

Well.., I use those 2" ers to secure my bigger rig onto a dolly.

But not because anything vibrates.
Just because it makes it way easier to move that damn tower around the stage .

Sam
