induction into the TalkBass HOF may be in order if you can actually get a video of that 80-pound SVT to dance. |

| | | | I suggest J.B. Welding the SVT right to the cabinet. I mean, that stuff holds better than velcro, amirite? BETTER YET:
Take the SVT chassis out of the case, and run 5" lag bolts through the case into 3/4" coarse thread t-nuts installed in the inside of the cab top. Extra beefy. Then reassemble the amp.. A COMBO TO DIE FOR! While you're at it, bolt a dolly to the back. Never can have enough external bracing.
No better brace than a 90 pound tube head and a dolly...
Seriously..some of these suggestions...IS THIS THING ON?

Then we'll weld the sh!t out of it. That'll fix it...I'm just kidding of course, (I was just trying to think of something totally over the top). I just want to see the video. |

I'm disappointed in the lot of you. Straps this, JB-Weld that.....
Lag Bolts?
Wrong, wrong, wrong.
Get a pyramid of cheerleaders to hold it up over the cabinet.

some of us don't have 10 extra cabs just laying around collecting dust | LOL. Temporary solution? He can place the amp on the floor until the cabinet issues are resolved. |

| | Your life is your message. | | Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Vancouver, BC Canada | | | My old LDS 15/6 also vibrated like crazy. I once had it pumping with about 1000w at a loud club and it was just inches from falling off the back edge of the stage. It jumped about 2 inches per low note. Luckily the song was over before it fell off! That cab was 44LBS and built from Italian Poplar. I built my own 15/6 from IP with a weight of 43LBS and I added all the extra optional bracing the plans called for as I was a bit wary of light cabs and vibration issues. My 15/6 is dead solid and doesnt move a millimetre.
LDS may need to reconsider the bracing methodology they use.

I've had many LDS cabs, and never once had an issue, of any sort.

LDS may need to reconsider the bracing methodology they use. | I have an LDS 15/6 and have never had this issue, even when pushed with lot's of watts. I have an LDS 1212/6 and I've never had this issue.

Now I want a vibrating cab

Wait what was the question again?
