ALright so ive had my gk 800rb for awhile, it gave me some problems i had it repaired for about 150. I take it to an audition today and it over heated, good thing i brought my b2re with me. So im pulling the plug on the head. I found a 700RBII for sale used. Good idea? I need something to pair with my 410hlf and I can get it for about 300. what do ya think?

Offer $250, and I think you have a good deal. Even $300 is reasonable if it is in great shape. Keep the B2RE for backup. I think you might like the 700RB even better! Not the same tone as the 800RB, but you still get the GK growl and power.

I think you're making a good mover there - $300 for a used 700rb-II in good shape is a good deal, and IMO they're one of the best bass amps on the market...
