headphones in a pre out or send out
 

Just wondering...
what could happen inserting headphones in a speaker output or pre out or send out of an amp ?

You will hear a very quiet signal through the left ear. That's it. TO make it work you need a preamp or phone amp.

If you insert them into a speaker out you will destroy the phones and possibly the hearing in your left ear'ole. Don't do it!!!
