Help! B210 rattle with GK1001 RBII head.
I bought a Delta driver from Avatar to replace one of the NEOís (blown) in my Avatar B210 a few months ago. I use a GK 1001RB II to power the cab. I can take the GK to just about 10 oclock and after that I get quite a bit of rattle in the cabinet and a waffling sound. Iíve proceeded to tighten all of the screws completely around the cabinet, and also tried different settings on the horn to see if it was related to that. All to no avail. Iíve checked the seating of the woofers in the cabinet as well and both are secure.
Any ideas? Is there a mismatch between having a Delta and a NEO in the same cabinet that could cause issue? I also have a similar issue with my B212 NEO as once I bring the volume up quite a bit that cabinet also starts to distort.
I run a Fender Jazz through Bass Pod XT Live into the GK head.

Yes the Delta and the NEO are two different speakers and will not work well in the same cabinet space. The B212 is most likely going well into power compression and approaching the thermal power limit (rated thermal rms). If you have clean amp power still available and the speakers start distorting you need more speakers not more power.

That's a lot of amp for (1) 2x10 cab if you're not very careful........

+1 mixing spkrs in a 210 is a crapshoot that usually sucks, and that amp could push an 810 fully. You're way under-speakered.
