help bass amp question about OHMS matching of speakers and head

I have a GK 4x10 cab powered by a behringer 450 watt head.
the back of the head says parallel speaker out put
into 1x4 ohms or 2x8 ohms. i lust have the 4X10 cab nothing else already replaced one speaker is it ok to play these together? or shoud i get a head that matches the cabnet? the cabnet ohms setting is 8 ohms 400 watt pwer handling. any help would be apprecieated
