Question Help: Fender Rumble 100 caster screws/bolts

Sign in to disble this ad
Greetings !
I bought a used Fender Rumble 100 and have been repairing & refurbishing it as I go along. I have the original caster wheels but not the screws/bolts. The manual off Fender's website does not list nor specify the screws. I can see that the threaded inserts are still there and seated properly in the holes. I didn't want to just use 5/8" wood screws set between the threads, or worse, jammed into the threads.

Can any of the Rumble 100 owners out there tell me length, width and thread of the screws ?

Thanks.

If you don't get an answer, try emailing Fender.

I keep separate cans of SAE and Metric bolts, and cans of machine screws and wood screws that I can use for things like this - but I have room to store them.

Pilgrim,
I plan to do that this week, if I don't get an answer here. I hoping TalkBass will save me time in VRU hell. ;-)

I'm tempted to remove one of the thread sleeves and take it to the hardware store to find the right screws. However, I don't want to weaken the attach point. I'll call Fender before I resort to this.

I love bringing things back to life like this. Almost as much fun as playing... almost.
