Help ID Peavey 4x12 Cab

Anybody have any familiarity with the cab in this CL ad?

4x12 Speaker Cab, 320 watts, 4 ohms. Slot ported enclosure. Casters

The drivers with the cut off edges where I think scorpions?, not black widows anyway. The 80 watt per power rating suggests more of a guitar driver. Might be ok with a lower power amp if you don't mind some grit in your tone.

I have not seen one of those since the early 80s. A friend of mine used a steinberger through a roland preamp and Peavey CS 200 into two of those cabinets. I heard them at outdoor gigs and they sounded fantastic.

The bass player of my other band uses one of these and a Peavey Valveking 100 (guitar amp) and this cab handles all 100 tube watts that the head throws at it no problem.

It's really heavy, but sounds great.

Not saying it's a bad speaker.. will be heavy..

Some say scorpions sound better than a widow.
