Looks like Altec drivers. An old Sunn cab perhaps?

If the seller doesn't know that would make it a pig in a poke.

You might have better response with a better picture. Not sure about anyone else, but all I can see is a bit of shiny dust covers and a faint outline of the cab. Not anywhere near enough for any kind of identification. And BTW - this can be an awesome place given something to work with. This can also be a place of utter nonsense too.

So what you're saying is I shouldn't spend the $140 to get these?

$140? If those are JBL or Altecs in there, one is worth more. The Acoustic Control Corp 406 was a good cab.

Understood. I'm in agreement with the others on fridge look with the towell bar and slant back and the Acoustic look front. Maybe some modifications in areas? It would be great to know for sure what speakers are in it. For me, that would be the deal maker or breaker. JBLs, Altecs or even the Acoustic Emminences would all be nice buys, particularly the JBL and Altec. Even crappy ones of those go for well over $100 and often over $200.

See if you can convince the seller to pop a speaker out and tell you any markings on the back.

We'll get to the bottom of this.
