Help me choose an amp...

I am looking for an amp for my High School Concert/Marching Band. Needs to be durable, and be able to stand up to cold nights at football games. No tubes, looking for suggestions on solid state bass combos or heads.

My school has a GK MB112 that has been a tank and sounds awesome. For your needs I'd go with a bigger amp but definitely check out GK. At home I use a MarkBass Jeff Berlin combo which is really loud but it's been treated very nicely so I don't know its durability factor.

What is your budget, and how loud do you realistically need to be?

For my money, I would go with a PF-500 and a PF-115LF.
