Question help! My amp keeps shutting down

I'm new to TB so if I'm doing this wrong please let me know.
I recently bought a WorkingPro 700 to use with my WORKINGMAN'S 410 and sansamp pedal. We usually just setup and play, so there is no real chance to work out any bugs.
I think the sansamp is causing the shutdown because when I eliminate it I usually don't have the problem, except last weekend. All the tone controls are either flat or in minus territory, both on the amp and sansamp.
When I turn the blend back to 11:00 it seems to help, I used to keep it around 2:00. It's difficult to say if the amp is clipping before it cuts out because I'm usually singing and often tight spaces make it tough to turn around with out wacking my headstock.
Just to add to the confusion- last weekend with the sanssamp off my amp shutdown. I dialed back the bass tone contrrol from 0 to -1. That seemed to do the trick.

I would appreciate any insight. Thank you.

Sound like a over-heat. If rack mounted make sure it has lots of breathing room around it and it may have a fan inside that is not working.

I would think its thermaling out probably because you are producing more amp power than the single 4X10 can handle at low frequency.

As you have discovered you can either dial back your low frequency or if
the amp will drive half the ohms your current cab is rated at, you could just get another 4X10.
That in its self (if not less than your amps minimum ohms requirement) will give you the same apparent sound level at low frequency at less than half the amps power output in watts.
Hope this makes sense.

check the cabinet with a 9V battery to ensure all the drivers are operating with the same polarity. All the cones should move in the same direction. use the amp end of your speaker cable and apply the battery to the tip and the sleeve. You should hear a loud clunk and all the cones should move. Usually with the positive terminal of the battery to the tip of the plug the cones will move out away from the magnet structure.

Wow! Definitely some possibilities here. I know it's not overhearing, fan's working and 2 space amp in 4 space rack.
Just a couple of questions:

Bassmec: would buying a 4 ohm cab achieve the same goal? Space is limited

BassmmanPaul: does the battery trick put them in the same polarity or am I watching to see if they move in the same direction?

I really appreciate the help!
