Help! My bass head is making a clicking noise.

I own an Acoustic B200 bass head. It sounds like there is a button inside the head clicking everytime I play a note and the sound cuts completely off. It works fine at very low volumes but it starts to click and cut off as soon as I turn it up. It's annoying and I would be grateful if someone can shed some of their awesome knowledge and info on this problem of mine.

It's probably a protection circuit, like a relay clicking in.
Make sure you're not trying to drive too low of impedance which can look like a short to the protection circuits.
If you're running multiple cabinets, just try one, and see if it doesn't click off as much.
If it keeps up - take it back to GC - they have a great return policy.
