Hey guys, let me know your thoughts on these rig set ups

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm considering one of these set ups to go with my TC RH750:

Let me know which rig I should choose and why

(I play bigger shows and my still is scooped mids, very warm/fat sound that will give the whole band a lot of stage warmth without hurting their ears with the high end.
note: I have a 4ohm limit on my head (2 8ohm cabs)

1. (3) TC RS212 cabs
2. (2) TC RS212, (1) TC RS410
3. (1) Ampeg Pro Neo 115, (1) Ampeg Pro Neo 410
4. Fender bass pro 215
5. Mesa Powerhouse 215

Thoughts? Thanks everyone!

How come numerous manufacturers demo 15's and 10's together at namm and on the youtube demo's? ... They all sound really good too:

I'm awaiting delivery on one of these currently - when it comes in, I'll be sure to post about it... I currently have the PH810, and it's the best cab I've ever played thru - but @ 173lbs, it's not for everyone... Still, I've yet to play another stand alone cab that could match it for volume, lows, and clarity... I had the PH610 also, and it was a very good cab - I would also recommend it, or SWR's Goliath Sr(another 610) - any of those will get significantly louder that any realistic gig could require...

It’s about marketing to the unread and ill-informed.

It’s also debated and explained here daily, so don’t be offended if people don’t rush to yet-again explain the physics of it.

Peace,

so a fearful 15/6/1 cab that everyone on here is gassing over isn't good because of the different size speakers in the combo cab??

same with the Genz quad cab?

You can’t see the difference between a specially-designed cab and what you were suggesting in your OP?

A fEarful is specifically designed to use the proper speakers, at specific crossover points, to provide a hi-fi/even response cab.

welp. I took everyone's advice on here. I got all matching cabs. I purchased 3 RS212 cabs last night from my local music store...They will presumably be here within 2-4 weeks...I can't wait! I'll be sure to post about my thoughts when it comes in
