I JUST saw a posting that was entitled this, but I couldn't find it. Sorry!
What are some high end 4x10 cabs to run with my Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0? Looking for something around the 900watt range. Are there ANY 4x10 cabs this powerful?

It does not tell you how much of that power they can actually use before the drivers reach full excursion, past which any additional power applied doesn't result in additional output. AFAIK the only manufacturer that publishes that information is Barefaced Bass. |

If you're playing a variety of notes with starts and stops, and not a continuous sine wave, the cab should be able to take it. If you figure you only need the RMS wattage for volume and tone, it also leaves you with some fair headroom. |

A single uber210 gives you a 500watt rig...900 with 2 |

I Also really like my 2 EarCandy 212 cabs at 950 watts Each. All these cabs are 4ohms and have handled my megawatt heads(Crown XTi 4000, Genz Benz GBE1200, and Mesa Boogie Titan V12...all over 1200 watts)...peace...DAcat

I think the GS410 is said to be 800 watts. What ever the rating on these ... it is rocking and makes me smile!

Truth is, "MOST" bass cabinet manufacturers use speakers from Eminence. Either Eminence's inexpensive stamped framed models or their top-shelf cast frame models available with custom x-max to the manufacturers specs.
So, in theory, depending on which model of Eminence driver is loaded in the cab, they should all be close in rated power handling. |

| | | | Hey,
I just bought a Bergantino AE410 to use with my Genz Shuttle 9.0. It's 4 ohms and 800 watts. It should pair up nice (I hope). |
