Hiwatt lead 100r

Anyone ever heard this as a bass head? I'm curious as to how it sounds if anyone has experience with one? I couldn't find much info on the web but honestly haven't had much time to give it a fair shake. One popped on on my local CL and peaked my interest...

The Lead model equals the OL model.

There is an additional tube stage for overdrive, some players like it very well but others don't.
The additional tube stage equals the legendary Boogie overdrive stage.
Boogie was the founder of this overdrive concept in the 70s.

Interesting. I wonder how much overdrive it can crank out? Do you think it would be closer to an orange or fender bassman in its "cranked" tone?
