Not the answer You're hoping for, but no, it's not plausible IMHO.

. Nothing You can put in front of it will make it louder in the bass frequencies than it already is.
Not unless You go the psychoacoustics route that is, and use a DSP to create the illusion of the fundamental being stronger than it actually is by enhancing the harmonics.
You can however use cabs with a greater efficiency/sensitivity, if more volume from a certain amp is required.
