horn questions?

Sign in to disble this ad
what is the purpose of the horn feature that came with my amp? how can i tell if its working? when i switch it, it all sounds the same to me as far as my bass goes, but theres a bit of a hiss when its on FULL... also is it bad to have it on FULL all the time?

my amp allows me to have it on 3 different settings which are:
-FULL-
-OFF-
-6dB-

thanks in advance!

by the way im playing a fender bassman 100 combo with single 10" speaker

If you play flat wounds and don't use your D or G strings much you might not hear much from a horn (tweeter). Full up or off not bad either way unless it makes a sound you don't like to hear.
