How bad is the Bseries ampeg 410?
 

I've heard nothing but bad things about the ampeg Bse 410 cab, but that's compared to the ampeg 410 and the 810

I've got someone offering me a secondhand 410 b series for £230 and someone offering an 810 for £500

I'm not particularly strong so having a huge cab may be a bit of disadvantage but I can't find a normal 410 secondhand and a new 410 cab is about £510 anyway.

So has anyone got any advice? I'm going to be running it through a ampeg SVT 7 head

I'd totally do the 810 in that situation if you can swing moving it. Lift with the legs, not the back, and always use leverage when you can instead of deadlifting it. The B series cabs aren't horrible, but they're lighter duty than the SVT series cabs, and they use cheaper speakers.

I've been wondering about these too. One of my local stores has a b410he new at a pretty low price. I've been wondering how it would pair up with my Streamliner since it's a sealed cab.
