How to bias Trace Elliot V6???

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of changing all the valves in my V6 so how do I go about biasing it?

I found an old pdf saying you need a bias king, looking on ebay they are £125ish which is too much on top of the cost of the valves.

Is there any other way of doing it myself or would it just be better to find a tech to sort it out?

I haven't had the V6 going for about 3-4 years so I need to get it back up and running!!

Thanks

Mark

If it has not run for all that time you NEED to take it to a tech. Opening up a tube amp is hazardous and should only be done by a proper tube amp tech.
